East Greenland Fjords Travel Diary

Cruising through the eastern fjords of Greenland was full of surprises. My journal entries and photos reveal encounters with wildlife, such as whales and polar bears, and explore remote landscapes of icebergs and history. An opportunity to visit the only town on the east coast, Ittoqqortoormiit, solidified Greenland as a unique destination.

Breaking away from loneliness on the road

After 10 years as a flight attendant, constant travel shaped a solitary, unconventional life. Even after leaving the job, I’ve kept moving, finding joy in new experiences but missing stable connections. The pandemic sparked reflection on relationships, priorities, and age. To cope with loneliness, I embrace the present, nurture distant connections, and find comfort in creativity and the richness of a nomadic perspective.
